Indulge in one of our pre-performance specialty platters, carefully curated to complement the essence of the show.

Each platter is a sensory journey, blending flavours that echo the themes and emotions of the evening. Join us in this culinary prelude, setting the perfect stage for the artistic experience ahead.

All platters are available as vegetarian, vegan and gluten free.

Each platter starts from £25 and includes a choice of a small glass of wine, beer or soft drink which can be chosen on the night.

2 March: Si King
Inspired by the Hairy Bikers' recipe book Our Family favourites

Join us for an exclusive dining experience celebrating the latest Hairy Bikers' cookbook, Our Family Favourites. This is a rare opportunity to sample recipes personally inspired by the Hairy Bikers and expertly prepared to delight your taste buds.

Indulge in a specially curated two-course extravaganza featuring bold and comforting flavours:

Main Course
Beef Curry Hot Pot: a rich and hearty dish combining tender beef and aromatic spices, slow-cooked to perfection. Served with griddled cabbage tossed in a savoury cashew and chilli paste, adding a delightful crunch and a hint of heat.

Dessert
Rum Babas with Grilled Pineapple: light and fluffy sponge soaked in a luscious rum syrup, paired with caramelized grilled pineapple for a tropical twist to end your meal.

Includes half a bottle of house red or white wine per guest. Spaces are limited to just 30 guests, so book early to secure your spot.

24 and 25 March: Jason Donavan
Especially for you, a taste from down under! Enjoy a selection of surf and turf skewers with dips, crudités of vegetables and fruit pavlova to finish. Served with a glass of sparkling wine. We will also have a prosecco and cocktail bar available on the evening.

2 April: Cavern Beatles and 4 April: That'll Be The Day
A time to reminisce on the hey day of the swinging sixties with our 1960’s inspired speciality platter! Enjoy cheese straws, stuffed celery, smoked salmon mousse, brie cheese dip, devilled eggs and macaroni salad served with a Sidecar cocktail.

You will be asked to enter in any dietary requirements as part of the booking path. Should you not have any requirements simply enter 'none'. Your email address and contact telephone number will be shared with Seasoned, our catering partners, in order to facilitate any dietary requirements you may have.

Table seating arrangements will be set according to the number of platters booked per individual. Please advise beforehand, by emailing gm.apex@the-athenaeum.com, if you plan to have companions sitting with you as and when you are dining.

Platters must be pre-booked. Booking will close 24 hours before the service start time.
