The Schubert Ensemble is widely recognised as one of the world's leading exponents of music for piano and strings

The ensemble has performed in over 40 different countries, has over 80 commissions to its name, has recorded over 30 critically acclaimed CDs and has regularly broadcast on BBC Radio 3.

In 1998 the Ensemble received the 'Best Chamber Ensemble' award from the Royal Philharmonic Society and was shortlisted for the award again in 2010.

After 35 glorious years, The Schubert Ensemble has announced that this will be their final season of concerts.
