People with a passion for fashion should keep their diaries clear for Thursday 28th April when the apex will be presenting and hosting a new fashion spectacular at the state of the art venue.
Working with Bury?s fashion retailers, the event will create a fantastic platform to highlight the wealth of shopping facilities here in Bury St Edmunds. Established retailers have all been invited to showcase their latest designs, and the mix of high street and independent stores will make for a superb range of fashion items, to suit all tastes.
Over thirty retailers will be showing their designs, including: Animal, Bella Lingerie, Cabana, Debenhams, Fat Face, Hobbs, Monsoon, New Look, Nicola Sexton, Officers Club, Palmers, Phase Eight, Wallis and many more. Alongside clothes for men and women, there will be displays of accessories including jewellery from Swarovski and hair from Rush with make up artists from Boots.
The show will be compered by Kate Solomons, presenter of the Clothes Show Live and former Miss England runner-up, while music will be provided by DJ Sebadee.
Organiser of the event, Julie Warren, Development Manager at the apex said ?we are delighted to have an opportunity to showcase the town?s fantastic range of fashion stores at the venue, with the planned 15.5 metre long catwalk and seating for over 500 people, we hope the event will be the forerunner of regular shows in the future.?
A charity raffle will also be organised during the event and a number of local companies have already pledged their support to ensure the evening is a great success.
All are welcome to the show, which will be a hugely enjoyable pre-Royal-Wedding night out. The audience will be further treated to a drinks and canapés reception, and a goody bag to take home, all included in the price.
All profits from the event will be donated to St Nicholas Hospice.
