The Institute of East Anglian Artists (IEA) represents established and up-and-coming artists who live in the area. It aims to provide a focus for artistic excellence, raise the profile of the arts in the region, and inspire and encourage the teaching of them.

The IEA organises regular exhibitions for its full and associate members, as well as an annual open exhibition for those in the area wishing to be represented by the Institute. Our member artists also represent the IEA as tutors, offering demonstrations to the public in various mediums and styles.

This is a varied exhibition of paintings in different media by members of the IEA demonstrating their very wide interests, from figurative to landscape to still life work. The members have been selected for the consistent quality of their work; some are members of the various national societies.

Opening hours:
Mondays to Saturdays - 10am-5pm
Sundays - 10am-4pm

Occasionally, the Art Gallery is closed to the public. If you are travelling specifically to see an exhibition, please call the Box office on 01284 758000 before your visit.

The Apex Gallery is situated on the first floor. Drinks bought from Aspretto in the foyer can be taken upstairs, so feel free to relax on the sofas with a drink and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The vast majority of works on display are for sale. For further information, please ask at the Box office.
