Iceni Botanical Artists

Iceni Botanical Artists are dedicated to the world of the plant kingdom. They all live and work in East Anglia and include several leading artists in the field.

Around 80 paintings will be on show from their 27 members, all devoted to the plant kingdom, reflecting many styles of painting, mostly in watercolour. The work ranges from loose and free interpretations to scientifically accurate plant portraits. They also hope to feature paintings of plants from the beautiful “Fullers Mill Garden” as a tribute to Bernard Tickner who recently died. The group spent many happy hours painting in his garden.

Also available will be their recently published book “Breckland Wild Flowers – Heaths and Grasslands” which features 45 watercolour paintings including rare and endangered plants of the area.

The Apex Gallery is situated on the first floor. Drinks bought from Aspretto in the foyer can be taken upstairs, so feel free to relax on the sofas with a drink and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
