Come and see an exhibition of work by the Kollide Collective - Lilli Simmonds, Leo Wager, Nell Lamb, Rachel Stott and Lily Taylor - in the Divide exhibition from Thursday 24 to Wednesday 30 April 2025 in the upstairs gallery space at The Apex.
And you are invited to meet the artists in person during a celebration gathering that will run from 1pm – 3pm on Saturday 26 April.
Divide is an art exhibition showcasing a curation of work made by a talented group of third-year undergraduate art students from Suffolk. The cohort is composed of students exploring a broad range of approaches from photography and printmaking to textiles and painting – all applied with a focus on the communication of meaning.
The work on show was created as part of the BA (Hons) Art Practice programme of study - a multidisciplinary course that welcomes applicants from the broad spectrum of visual pathways. Established in 2018, and based at West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds, Art Practice focuses on the vocational application of art and design skills, aiding individuals to forge and launch successful careers as artists. The course is designed to provide knowledge, real-world skills and experiences that teaches people how to make money from their creativity, and graduate ready to establish a rewarding artistic practice.
