Thursday 31 August – Sunday 24 September 2017
An exhibition of 4 local artists:
Andrew Harrington - 'Home & Away'
Andrew is a local artist living in Bury St
Edmunds, his work represents the beauty of the English landscape and the vivid
colours and atmosphere of The Greek Islands.
Cyndi Speer - 'Nature'
Inspiration for the majority of work that will be displayed by Cyndi at The Apex is derived from a love of nature.
Observing the natural elements within a landscape and breaking them down to form a framework of graphic shapes would be the usual way in which Cyndi approaches her work. Together with bold compositions, strong bright colours are combined with final inclusions of finer more subtle details. Cyndi works to music; therefore motion and flow are integral ingredients that are vital aspects of her work.
Steven Kent - 'Local Landscapes'
In this exhibition Steven presents a selection of his landscape paintings reflecting the diverse range of colours found throughout the region.
Matt Selfe - 'Faces of India'
An insightful exhibition of Matt's collection of images of members of India's diverse population going about their daily lives.
