Haverhill Silver Band, East Anglia’s premier brass band, present an evening of music, celebration and reflection. The first half will celebrate the band's 200th birthday, with varied music including the old favourite Zampa Overture, a new version of La Congo del Fuago, two of the band's fine soloists, original brass band compositions and even an excerpt from Riverdance.
The second half will be music in reflective mood for the 75th anniversary of VE Day - a traditional military march, a big band number from 1944, a movement from Karl Jenkins' 'The Armed Man', World War II songs, Parry's Jerusalem, and finishing with Walton's Crown Imperial.
