A brilliant musician and a national treasure, Alan has won numerous UK Jazz Awards and is one of the UK’s most entertaining jazzmen.

Today he ruminates on the beautiful and haunting music of the 1940s-1960s from Duke Ellington’s musical partner Billy Strayhorn.
