Event details

The Secret Sisters, Laura and Lydia Rogers, make their first visit to The Apex coinciding with the release of their fourth album, 'Saturn Return', an album of love and loss.

'Saturn Return' represents a new era of The Secret Sisters.

For the first time in their ten-year recording career, the Grammy-nominated duo composed all the songs without any co-writers and sang as individuals in the studio, instead of relying solely on close harmony singing.

Songs range from 'Cabin', a powerful anthem written in the aftermath of Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation hearings, to 'Hold You Dear', a tender ballad about new motherhood.

Support from Mary Bragg

Nashville based 'Americana Queen' Mary Bragg (Noisey) has been heralded in Rolling Stone and NPR Music, which included her new album 'Violets as Camouflage' in the 2019 'Best Albums of the Year' roundup: "Her clear, warm alto, reminiscent of Patsy Cline, was made for confidences, and these gorgeously crafted and executed songs touch the listener on a deep level, where insight occurs".
