The Bury Friendly Orchestra (BFO) are delighted to return to The Apex to perform a varied programme of music.

Including the atmospheric folk music from Scandinavia, Verdi's dramatic overture to his opera, Nabucco and Hamish MacCunn’s evocative portrayal of the Scottish landscape in his piece, The Land Of the Mountain and the Flood.

The BFO will also be joined by Matthew Walker, a former winner of the West Suffolk Young Musician competition, to perform Crusell’s Clarinet Concerto and the programme concludes with Korngold's scintillating Theme and Variations which builds to a glorious and dramatic conclusion.
