Event details

Band showcase featuring 5 of the area’s most exciting up-and-coming bands.

Featuring Connor Adams, Lost Lungs, Alter The Sky, Lunar Echoes and The Fifths.

Connor Adams
Adams' ability to blend heartfelt lyrics with a modern pop sound has adorned the praises of many industry professionals as BBC Introducing describe him as ‘an up and coming star’. His debut EP reached No.5 in the iTunes singer-songwriter chart.

Lost Lungs
This one off gig sees the Stowmarket five piece reform for the first time in three years and return to The Apex having supported Toyah Wilcox in 2014. Lost Lungs are previous runners up in the BurySOUND competition and will be sure to revisit their back catalogue of music, including tracks from their final release titled ‘Subterranean Homesick Hipster’.

Alter The Sky
The Cambridge hard rock band are influenced by the likes of Alter Bridge and Black Stone Cherry. Formed originally as a covers band, the group started releasing their own compositions in 2016 and this summer has seen the band bring out their latest EP ‘Fortune Favours the Bold’.

Lunar Echoes
Ronnie White, Ben Taylor, Ben Nunn and Mark Thomson mix prominent bass and drums with intricate guitar and synth work. The band is fronted by a powerful female lead vocal filled with emotion that stands out from the rest.

The Fifths
Influenced by Bloc Party, The Clash and Arctic Monkeys, The Fifths are an indie/garage rock band from Burwell who’s members are all just 17 years old. With gigs already under their belt at the John Peel Centre and Cambridge Junction, we look forward to them opening up the November 545 night with a bang!

Tickets are £5 and are available from the bands directly or The Apex (in advance and on the door).
