After the success of their first visit three years ago, Salute to the 1940's - a fabulous, award winning variety show, full of the artistes who kept the nations entertained on both sides of the Atlantic, returns to The Apex.
Now in its 10th year, this show will have you singing in your seats and waving your flags with pride. Featuring authentic and passionately recreated tributes to some of the leading artistes from the era, including George Formby, Frank Sinatra, Vera Lynn and Gracie Fields. Keeping everyone in check is Warden Braithwaite - your very own air raid warden. Also, as a special feature to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of WW1, the show will also include songs that became singalongs in both eras, and kept the moral of the troops and the nation high.
