Event details

Welcome spring with the Suffolk Sinfonia in an uplifting evening of orchestral favourites.

Conducted by Ian McCrae, with Laura Foreman as leader and Jamie Foreman as violin soloist, the programme opens with the vivacious energy of Shostakovich's Festive Overture, followed by Bruch's lyrical and much-loved Scottish Fantasy.

The concert concludes with Elgar's magnificent Symphony No. 1, a work of sweeping grandeur and emotional depth. Combining brilliance, romance and majestic symphonic power, this promises to be a memorable celebration of the season. We do hope you can join us.
