Karl Bushby: The Man Who Walked the World

Karl Bushby: The Man Who Walked the World

28 years on the road. 36,000 miles on foot. The deadly Darién Gap. The frozen Bering Strait. A swim across the Caspian Sea. One man. Two unbreakable rules. One extraordinary journey home.

In 1998, British adventurer Karl Bushby left Punta Arenas, Chile, determined to walk all the way home to Hull, England. His promises were simple but uncompromising: no transport to advance his journey, and no going home until he had completed it on foot.

What followed was an adventure almost beyond belief.

For nearly three decades, Karl has battled some of the world's most unforgiving environments, from the perilous jungles of the Darién Gap to the frozen crossing between Russia and Alaska. He has faced life-threatening danger, extraordinary physical and psychological challenges, and obstacles that threatened to bring his mission to an end.

But what keeps a man going when survival hangs in the balance? What does it take to sacrifice almost everything for a promise?

Now, for the first time, Karl brings his story to UK theatres in a gripping live event. Hear the incredible experiences behind the headlines, the moments of fear and discovery, the remarkable resilience, and the sheer determination that has carried him across continents.

This is more than a story about walking. It's a thrilling, deeply human tale of courage, British grit, sacrifice and refusal to surrender.

One man. One impossible ambition. An extraordinary true story, told by the man who lived it.

And discover what happens when giving up simply isn't an option.

"One of the most extraordinary adventures of our time."
