Exhibition of Ukrainian artist, Valerii Kaluiev “My world – Uncompromised: From Ukraine to UK, through the eyes of an artist”.

 

A renowned Ukrainian artist who was forced to relocate from Kiev to Bury St Edmunds, he has fallen in love with its charm, people and rich history.

 

Inspired by stories of St Edmund and influenced by more recent experiences and feelings, Valerii‘s artistic works radiate a new sense of dignity, hope and resilience.

 

Through his works, the artist expresses his gratitude to people of the UK, for their kindness and support of Ukrainian people.

 

Opening hours:

Mondays to Saturdays - 9.30am-4.30pm and Sundays 10.30am-4pm

Occasionally, the art gallery is closed to the public. If you are travelling specifically to see an exhibition, please call the box office on 01284 758000 before your visit.

The Apex Gallery is situated on the first floor. Drinks bought from the cafe in the foyer can be taken upstairs, so feel free to relax on the sofas with a drink and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
