Event details

Michael Law’s Piccadilly Dance Orchestra celebrate their 30th Anniversary in 2018.

To mark the occasion, the band is joining forces with Strictly Come Dancing singer, Lance Ellington.

Lance has true show-business pedigree – his father was Ray Ellington of Goon Show fame. Ray’s career began with the British Dance Bands of the 30s and Lance’s when he won the New Faces television talent show, followed by a tour with Johnny Mathis. Since then he has worked with many of the greatest names in show business, including Sammy Davies Jnr.

As the finale to a swinging, humorous and tuneful show, The PDO and Lance team up for a grand finale of the music from Cole Porter’s High Society, including 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?', 'Now You Has Jazz' and 'True Love'. Lance sings the Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra songs – Michael, the Bing Crosby hits.

An unforgettable entertaining evening of toe-tapping music from a lost, golden era of music!
